Before Indah Designs was started I always had a vision that I wanted to ensure I could run Indah ethically, sustainable and to try and walk a little lighter on this beautiful earth.
Indah Designs started off with just homewares, and we ensured all homewares were ethical sourced, supporting local artisans and making sure that all timber products were only ever treated with natural, organic oils, and we still embodied those values today.
Since we have expanded our brand to include fashion elements including our Little Indahs collections we have made it our mission to source garment factories that are committed to ethical trade. We are dedicated to trying to put a stop to 'fast fashion'.
We endeavour to be more sustainable by only manufacturing each collection once, meaning we don't mass produce our designs and eliminating any wastage of fabrics.
We are proud to say that our beautiful garments are designed in Australia and manufactured in a family run factory in Hong Kong, China. Every member of the family is involved, from the Father making our patterns, the Son running production management and the Sister is in charge of sampling.
We have built a strong relationship with our manufacturing team and are excited for what the future holds for both of us working together and ensuring that we are all making an effort towards being more ethical and walking a little lighter on this beautiful planet.
We believe in our sustainability vision and look forward to sharing this journey with you.
